A thorough biomechanical and physical assessment aimed at identifying risk factors for injury development. This includes:

  • Running gait analysis
  • Muscle length testing
  • Muscle function testing
  • Muscle strength testing
  • Functional movement analysis
  • Balance and proprioceptive testing

An individualised injury prevention program will be provided based on your assessment findings. This will generally include:

  • Muscle strengthening and endurance training
  • Muscle activations
  • Muscle power training/plyometrics
  • Pelvic stability training and core strengthening
  • Targeted tissue stretching
